Developer or general contractor! Safety?

In the contract for work, the construction sum includes VAT. No additional VAT will be added. VAT always depends on a product.

I would probably see the situation a bit more relaxed. You are indeed the builders, which you did not want, but the general contractor will take over (almost) all the work for you. Most are helpful and have an ear as well as the necessary phone number. Enjoy building a house

What does the payment schedule look like, just out of curiosity.

Furthermore, a TÜV/DEKRA/Other expert can support you, but you are the builders, so you have to accept the trades/services yourselves.

In addition, I fear that such an expert may not be sufficient under certain circumstances. You cannot see everything necessary with 6 or 8 visits to the construction site.

There are 25 construction phases!

I don't mean that. More interesting is which amount becomes due with which section.
