There are no suitable plastic U-profiles to buy anywhere, right?

Since this is a retrofit DIY solution, I don’t expect to find "suitable" profiles in the sense that there won’t be a fit problem somewhere (in interaction with the profile of the door / side panels). I would prefer powder coating – but what a painter does will ultimately achieve a similar quality level. So, if you don’t have an aluminum window manufacturer nearby, then go to the painter.
