Hello, we live in a 4-unit apartment building.
The whole thing is arranged so that the two apartments on the ground floor have their own entrance.
Our apartment is on the first floor and shares an entrance including the staircase with the apartment in the attic.
On the first floor, that is on our level, there is also the communal drying room, which also contains the shared heating system.
If the residents on the ground floor want to use this room, they have to use our entrance and our staircase.
Now the question:
How must the stairs be constructed, or what width / height must they have? We live in Lower Saxony ... what I have found out so far from the building regulations is that there are probably differences depending on whether there are 2 apartments or more! Maybe someone can help me with my concern?
Thank you very much!
