Hello everyone,

since we have already received great help with the design of the main bathroom, we need your help again for the guest bathroom. :-) The husband's wish is a urinal. However, I don't see any available space for it. If you place the toilet and the urinal along the 1.20m wall instead of the washbasin, it will be quite tight, right? We recently saw this setup in a bathroom showroom, and that of course encouraged my husband that the space should be sufficient.

So in general, people say that there should be a 20cm distance to the wall or adjacent sanitary fixtures. If you play that through, you would get:

20cm distance - toilet (~35cm) - 20cm distance - urinal slim version (~30cm) - 20 cm distance to the wall

That would be 125cm, but depending on the toilet, there might be a few more centimeters, the same applies to the urinal. So it would already be tight and could then look visually cramped. You could probably pull the toilet and urinal a little closer together since they are hardly used together. But personally, I would classify it as too tight. But I also don't need a urinal; in the end, your husband has to know whether he doesn't mind the probably cramped look and absolutely needs the urinal.

Oh well, all tiles, then it can be cleaned with the HDR, like at the train station.

No, seriously, space yes, but I didn’t want to have it inside.
