Hello home builders,

can plaster with a textured finish actually be applied to the drywall ceiling?

Looking for some alternatives to wallpaper...

Regards

Could settle it myself. Structo fine plaster 1mm will be applied to wall & ceiling, drywall will get a primer. Price-wise it’s the same since we have Q2 plaster. Refinishing to Q3, smoothing, sanding to then paint involves even more effort. Plaster from a roll also costs a bit more. It will be applied by a trained bricklayer.
