Descaling system - is a bypass worthwhile for garden and kitchen?

I would definitely install a bypass line for drinking water in the kitchen. That the sink then scales more is a negligible problem. In my case, the single-lever mixer is mounted on the wall, not in the sink. Then simply another tap for non-softened cold water is placed next to it.

That is exactly how it is arranged now, thank you for the input. Let's see if I would pass it on as a tip next year as well.
