Dear forum members

I have been researching suitable descaling systems for quite some time now, but I am still somewhat undecided. In general, my focus was on a BTW Perla system. Since BTW still has not responded to my email, I continued searching. Lo and behold, there are many other device manufacturers. Now I have settled on Water2By, as they also offer a 7-year warranty. According to my research, these should really not be worse than the BTW system. Does anyone of you have experience with it? BTW offers an Aqua-Stop with a sensor. I have also found such sensors for sale on the Internet. Are these recommendable? Since the moisture sensors are placed in the room, it doesn’t help if I have water damage in the bathroom three rooms away. Is there a leak detector that generally reacts when a pipe somewhere in the house is leaking or burst?

Thank you very much
Best regards Jumbo

Hello,

I would always choose the provider where you have a service. In our area, Grünbeck is the most common. You also have to maintain the devices sometimes. And the manufacturer's service is cheaper compared to a plumber trained by the manufacturer.

Judo and Judo aquastop. I am very satisfied. If there is a leak somewhere in the house, the main water valve will automatically shut off.

These things are junk from the Far East. If you want something decent (with DVGW certification, resin disinfection, and reasonable operating costs), stick with the German/European manufacturer. BWT, Grünbeck, Judo all good.
