Damn railway for the base plate - point supports or full surface?

Hello everyone, I have a question about welding the base plate. My screed layer wants to apply the welding membrane onto the base plate and weld the seams together. A friend of mine says that a bitumen primer should be applied first, then a full-surface welding. How is it done correctly now?

Whether a primer is required depends on the water load case; a primer is almost always necessary, welding is done partially or fully. Partial welding is preferred when, for example, diffusing vapor is expected from a fresh concrete floor slab; in this case, a partially welded membrane acts like a vapor pressure equalization layer.

I will address this topic once. This is how we weld full-surface. But before that, there is a primer coat. That is not much work. But here we are on the safe side.
