Hello everyone,
I unfortunately have a problem where I urgently need your advice.
I own a new building where parquet flooring (real wood, oak, oiled) was installed in the living room. Unfortunately, after a water damage, I have TWO problems in smaller spots on the parquet and mold on the wall:
I am even considering having the room sanded? Can you tell me approximately how much sanding and oiling a room of about 35 sqm costs?
Thank you for your help. Sebastian

I own a new building where parquet flooring (real wood, oak, oiled) was installed in the living room. Unfortunately, after a water damage, I have TWO problems in smaller spots on the parquet and mold on the wall:
[*]Problem:
At one spot it seems that the parquet absorbed water. Currently, it is dry again and no longer swollen. Unfortunately, very small dark cracks have now formed between the parquet pieces. Is it possible to bleach these cracks and reseal the parquet only in the affected spot? I ask because the room is very large (35 sqm), and the affected areas together are only about 0.5 sqm. If possible, I would like to avoid sanding down the entire otherwise first-class parquet here.
[*]Problem:
I treated the mold on the wall with AGO mold remover (For the record: top result against mold!). Unfortunately, a few drops of this product dripped onto the parquet during application and went unnoticed. Now I have white spots on the parquet. I suspect that the chlorine or acid in the product has bleached the surface of the wood! What can I do now to remove these spots again?
I am even considering having the room sanded? Can you tell me approximately how much sanding and oiling a room of about 35 sqm costs?
