I don't think a golf lawn will grow there. It wouldn't survive intact with playing children either. I would tend to mow at most 1-2 times a year, the rest will be trampled flat by the children anyway ;)

It's not about the lawn quality. But it simply means extra effort. Depending on how the hill is designed, no standard robotic mower works. we have enough hills or slopes on the property. It works without children too;)

For a steeper hill, it's best to use the [Motorsense], a lawn mower or robot isn't so great there. And yes, it's more work, but kids are just work ;)

Yes, the "grazing" by children will reliably prevent any overgrowth ;-)

Not every child likes such play mounds with pipe systems. I would make that dependent on my own children. As a balance bike track, that is too boring. The girl takes the quarter pipe. That also works with a balance bike.
