Hello everyone,

our heating installer has laid the pipes and cables to the outdoor unit of our heat pump as seen in the photos.
We suspect that this type of wall penetration and laying of the pipes is not very professional and wonder how it is supposed to be sealed and how the plasterer can properly plaster there.
Does anyone have a tip or photo of how this is usually done neatly?
Are there still ways to make it reasonably tidy without dismantling the pipes/cables? Or is it okay and we are worrying about nothing?

Thanks a lot!

Take a look in the Aquarea Club, there are many example systems with photos. With us, every pipe has its own drilling, including the power cable. There are clamps that go around the pipe and can be plastered over, at least for the interior plaster. Outside we have no plaster.

Ok, this isn't right, how is it supposed to be sealed? But maybe someone with more knowledge about it can say something.

With us, the flexible hose with Armaflex ends before the exterior wall, copper passes through the wall. The insulation is rigid and sheathed. Inside at the plaster and outside it has then been sealed.

The Armaflex insulation and empty conduits/protective conduits for the electricity are already not tight inside/in themselves, that should be better.

Thank you boxandroof, it looks very similar to what you write and show on many photos on the aquarea Club page. It will presumably be the usual procedure to make a hole for each cable/pipe and then seal it.

We will then have to complain about this to the heating installer or architect :-( ...
