Cracks in the gable wall completely through the masonry, year of construction 1968

While looking at the photos, another thought occurred to me... could it be that the ring beam was damaged by the chipping work that apparently once took place under the window? I know that an empty conduit was subsequently inserted there and extended down to the ground floor.
