Costs of cladding strips in new construction

we are planning to have our new building project clad with bricks. However, we were completely overwhelmed by the initial cost estimate - for about 260 sqm of facade area (house + knee wall + garage), the price is supposed to be around 114,000 euros. Have you had any experience with the prices - is that realistic or completely overpriced?

We also obtained various offers last year.

Two observations from that:
1. Full facing brickwork and "normal" brick slips hardly differ in price, only the base slab and statics become somewhat more expensive with full facing brickwork. Such "slip tiles" alone are somewhat cheaper.
2. Offers started at about €175/m², with no upper limit - up to over €400/m².

Here I come to 114,000 / 260 = €439/m²
So that seems very high to me.

Our house is not yet built. We have chosen a large and also quite well-known company, which was priced at about €190/m² (for full facing bricks and for brick slips). How well that will go and whether we will manage with €190/m², we will see. (However: Due to the price proximity, we decided on full facing brickwork.)

I would recommend getting other offers here. Because that sounds like a defensive offer.

This is pure rip-off. The company saves on plaster and instead sticks on cladding strips. The boss can’t sleep for laughing if you do it like that. And he’s already ordering a new car from the profit.

In 2020, I paid a total of 35,000 euros for ceramic clinker (including 2 layers of insulation) for 290 sqm... today I would estimate it at 50-60,000 euros
