Hello,

we are currently planning our dream house and are considering whether to install a ventilation system. The house has approximately 175 sqm of living space spread over two floors. We have the following room layout:
GF:
- Study
- Guest WC with shower
- Utility room
- Kitchen
- Living/Dining room
- Hallway

UF:
- Child 1
- Child 2
- Office
- Bathroom with shower and bathtub
- Dressing room
- Bedroom

Is it necessary to have two ceiling outlets in some rooms (e.g., living room)?

What costs for hardware and installation should we roughly expect (we have unfortunately received many very different pieces of information).

Thanks and regards
Julian

How many ceiling outlets need to be installed depends on what kind of system is installed or what diameters are planned, etc., and for that you first need a plan.

You cannot say it in general.

Also, nothing definite can be said about the price as it varies greatly. You can only compare what has already been installed and paid for in this or that case.

10-20K is all possible.

How are the costs approximately broken down here? Pure hardware, installation, etc?

That depends heavily on the installer. The prices for the hardware are relatively easy to find on the internet. That way you can compare whether the markup is acceptable. For 175sqm, I wouldn't go below a 350cbm system. That gives you a reference point. The smaller systems almost always have to run at nearly full capacity otherwise.

our Zehnder Comfoair Q350 cost exactly 9998€ at our provider. The price is completely inclusive of hardware, installation, ventilation concept, etc. as well as commissioning by the manufacturer. Generally, it costs as much as the general contractor/provider/installation company charges for it :) From 10k€ to 20k€, anything is possible, the prices often differ massively for the same device.

10,000 is the lower limit. We paid 13,000 for the Zehnder Q350 including enthalpy, LAN, etc.
