Hello everyone,

we are currently renovating two small 62 sqm apartments from 1955. There is quite a backlog of renovations.

We have already done the electrical and plumbing work. Now we are looking for a tiler. Recently, a tiler came and looked at the apartment.

In total, 2 small bathrooms of about 5-6 sqm each need to be tiled. Floor tiles + wall tiles (half-high). Additionally, we want to tile the hallway and kitchen. In total, it would be about 80 sqm of tiles.

What would be a fair price including installation, tiles, and VAT? The tile quality should be mid-range.

We need a reference value as we have little experience.

Thank you very much for the help and best regards

So, we paid just under €100 per square meter two years ago. The tiles were included at €25-30. In the bathroom, the sealing is also of great importance.

In medium formats (so typically 30x60): about 50 to 60 euros per m2. On top of that, the tiles according to taste but usually from the exhibition that the tiler specifies for you. Rarely self-purchased hardware store goods.

Bathrooms cost more per m2 as they are more complex.
