Cost of financing consultation

I have a question about the financial advisors from DEBEKA, Deutsche Vermögensberatung, Plansecur, and others! If I get an offer for financing from these people (or several variants from each), do I have to pay these people for their offer work??? I was told this by a friend that it was like that for him. He had 6 different models from 4 providers, but logically only concluded the financing with one. Now 2 of the brothers who did not get to contract conclusion want to see money...

On what contractual basis? However, I would personally only speak with one financial broker; in the end, it makes no sense to get offers from 5 brokers from 20 banks...
