Hello,

as the question suggests, I need a brief cost estimate. I have asked two civil engineers in town what it would cost to partially asphalt the two parking spaces and the house entrance between the pavement and the street.

One civil engineer wants 800 euros plus VAT and the other has been postponing me for 4 weeks with the statement "I'll finish the offer soon." Do you think 800 euros is a good price? Unfortunately, I can't estimate it because I lack experience.

The two parking spaces are 3m wide, the house entrance about 2m. It's less than a meter to the street.

Thanks for your assessment.

Regards, Snowside

Is this already the final road construction or still a construction road? I wouldn't connect anything to the latter, it will be broken again anyway once the municipality has properly built the road.

I can't say much about the offer. Sounds like a small quantity surcharge.

Put a few planks down as a ramp and wait for the city to create the finished height of the street. The rest is wasted money.

Sorry, not mentioned. The street has been like this for years and the [gemeinde] lets it be this way. I have it in writing.

First of all, it seems too expensive.
How many m² is that? 15-20?
What is the surface like? Just the sand on the ground?
Something still has to be done there as well.

Hi

Why don’t you just pave all the way up to the asphalt?
