Just take the 5 - it has a bit more anyway and that's also at an extreme temperature. Otherwise, the heating element just runs sometimes...

I would never take the integrated water tank - always external. Costs, maintenance, and volume are better. I'm installing a 400l tank here with us...

What is better about the new FlexoTherm, that is, compared to the old GeoTherm? We want an air-water heat pump, so far the GeoTherm with the water tank has been discussed. I haven't found any comparison or anything like that so far...

More efficient pumps, higher efficiency, quieter, operation & reading possible via the internet.

As I said, nothing earth-shattering, but if I know there is something new that will then be current for 4-5 years, why shouldn’t I take it?

Interesting, does the FlexoTherm have to be on the Bafa list in order to be eligible for funding? If yes, when could they be added?

Quieter? I was already a bit taken aback when I read 42-49 dB... it's located in our utility room - it will probably be a solid core door. The old one was rated at 45.
