Hello ,
Although it has been a year since anything happened here, maybe someone is still reading.
Can you share your experience from the past year? How has the floor held up, is it robust enough or are there already signs of wear?
And a very important question, do you have underfloor heating? Generally, cork flooring is rather insulating and therefore disadvantageous. However, many manufacturers state that their coverings are indeed approved for underfloor heating.
We now have a similar problem. We bought a house and want to lay new flooring on the upper floor (two children's rooms, one bedroom). Due to our health concerns regarding vinyl flooring, we have also considered cork.
It was one of the best decisions to choose this floor.
Very robust – the top layer is very "stable" and after one year there are no signs of wear. The material is pleasant to walk on, the insulation is good, and it is warm in itself. We have underfloor heating. I would install the floor again at any time.
