Cooktop and sink, what distance to the countertop?

I am almost finished setting up my kitchen. Now I just have the countertop cut to size. But I have one more question:

How deep should the sink and the cooktop be installed? I have a 63.5 cm deep countertop and I am considering whether to install both centered or to install them with a certain distance towards the front. What do you think? Are there any guidelines? Does it look bad if the sink and the cooktop are not centered?

Hello, minimum distances should be specified in the dimensional sketches of the cooktop manufacturer.

The remaining strips after the cutout should be at least 5cm wide, otherwise the countertop will break exactly there under point load. Be careful when carrying the countertop if it is cut before being fastened to the base cabinets, plates have often broken at these exact spots during kitchen installation.

Basically, I prefer the sink and stove burners to be further forward, of course only as far as possible. If the sink is too far back, I get back pain, and with the stove burners, larger pans no longer fit at the back. You always end up in situations where exactly one centimeter is missing.
