Good morning :)
My parents took out a Classig Young home savings contract with the Sparkasse in 2009 with a savings sum of €10,000. Currently, about €1,200 is saved on it. At some point, they simply stopped saving, so now I have a question. Since I plan to build/buy something soon, I wonder whether I should continue it. I have an appointment at the Sparkasse next week, and before I get misled by them, I wanted to hear some objective opinions. In a brief conversation, it was already said that I should better terminate it and start a new one, which I do not fully understand.
The home savings contract has a credit interest rate of 1.5% p.a., a savings sum of €10,000, currently saved up to €1,200, and a valuation number of 48.054.
And I also have a second question. Since I see the purchase/build relatively soon and not in 5 years or more, I would be interested to know if there is a cap. Up to how much one may pay in per month. I have in Erin
