We do not know what to do at the moment and that is why we are asking here, because we will definitely be helped here :). The following: We have our building permit in hand and are now considering whether it would still make sense to start construction within the next 4 weeks. The opinion of our acquaintances is that the shell with the roof should be built and left to frost, because that was how it was done in the old days and then construction would continue in March. Our construction company, however, generally says that they very reluctantly want to start this year because of warranty concerns regarding mold, construction damage, etc. On the other hand, we have in writing in the contract that construction is to begin within 4 weeks after the building permit, only that no construction start would take place from mid-December to the end of January. What is your opinion?
