Construction solid wood vs. technically dried softwood

A difference I have noticed with some companies is that some use KVH for the roof structure and others use "technically dried softwood." KVH is supposed to be of higher quality and some say, of course, KVH is important while others say it makes no difference.

How important is KVH and what is it important for? What would you choose or have you chosen?

In a classic, non-visible roof truss, KVH is not necessary. KVH is more dimensionally stable than other wood. However, this does not matter in this case.
