Yes, you do that when you yourself are in the public sector and know the salaries there. In that sense, you are naturally a bit curious who in the lower pay grades has a net income of over 2300.
In that respect, the curiosity makes sense, whether something is being embellished and is unrealistic.

Well, as a federal officer in the upper service at level A10, 25 is easily achievable..

I don’t want to tattoo ants now, but which emergency paramedic regularly earns 2,500 net? Level 4 and above excluded. Surely allowances are included there? (shift work, night allowance, possibly on-call duty)

Better calculate without the allowances.
