Hello everyone,
I would like to briefly introduce myself since I am new here.
My name is Johannes and I am 28 years old.
I am currently building my own house.
I am a project manager in mechanical engineering.
Now I have a question that I am not sure about.
I have an entrance area that is [Unterkellert]. This means that the entrance door is set back to the rear, on top of my basement ceiling.
So here I have the raw ceiling.
Now I want to insulate and seal this up to the entrance door so that I can then cover it with polygonal slabs.
There is a height difference of 18 cm from the raw ceiling to the door threshold.
How should I design the structure here?
I thought of the following:
Raw ceiling
Sheet metal screwed onto raw ceiling over the edge to the perimeter insulation
Bitumen waterproofing membrane up to the perimeter insulation over the sheet metal
Slope insulation
Bitumen waterproofing membrane
Mortar with polygonal slabs
Please write me your opinion and also how thick you would dimension the different materials or which materials would be suitable.
Thanks in advance for your help
Oh, one more thing, the width of the area is 3.6m and the depth is 1m.
A 6 cm insulation (035) is required.
Best regards
Johannes
