Hello! I am about to build a Kfw 70 house without a basement. Regarding heating, I am now totally desperate. At first, I planned to install a pellet heating system. However, I gave this up due to the high costs for a pellet storage room. Instead, I now want to install an air-water heat pump. However, I was told by the gentleman who created the thermal insulation certificate that I would have to install an exhaust air-water heat pump. But for this, I would need a controlled residential ventilation system. I am not a fan of such ventilation systems for various reasons. Besides, I think the costs for this are certainly quite high. My question now is whether I really need this ventilation system for a Kfw 70 house or if I can simply install an air-water heat pump. Above all, I don’t understand why I don’t need this ventilation system with a pellet heating system. Can someone help me?
