The city of Munich can manage that for a long time – and since all farmers from the surrounding affluent areas now also belong to the newly rich (sell a field, boom, millionaire), the problem is simply shifting further and further out of the city. How (long) can the city of Munich still manage that? It needs affordable tickets and far-reaching transport associations. Sylt-like conditions cannot be good for an urban community in the long run. A city cannot remain attractive over time if the cafés have to close early so that the staff can still catch the last night bus home. If the traffic light at the intersection fails, you need a police officer who cannot just commute from his offshore residence hours later.
