Hello,

I have never filed an income tax return in my life, and now shortly before obtaining the financing offers, I read that this document should be provided...???

Is this really mandatory?
I am going to the banks with the following conditions:

Property 170,000 euros paid from equity in May 2014
Property transfer tax 8,500 euros paid from equity in June 2014.
Additional equity currently 200,000 euros, of which I want to declare 150,000 and use the rest for special requests.
Financing requirement 275,000 euros.
Net salary ~ 4,500 euros
The partner’s salary is initially not included.

Will the banks have problems with these conditions?

Thanks in advance

How high is the regular income and where does it each come from?

How is anyone supposed to know here whether Bank X insists on it or not?

I would simply bring proof of equity (including the property) and the pay slips or income tax certificate.

My income is 4,500 euros net monthly as an employee as stated.
The salary of my partner is initially left aside as stated.
Since I provide the entire equity/land, I will also take out the financing alone.

.. when looking at the banks to see which documents should be brought to the consultation, it always says the latest tax return there.

Perhaps there are people here who have successfully completed financing with or without this document.
I would be grateful for their answers.

Uh, why don’t you get the income tax return done? You can even do it for several years retroactively, depending on whether you were obliged to submit one.
It might possibly give you money back.

They want to see the income tax assessment because it shows the actual salary. But you can just have a consultation first. It’s enough if you state everything verbally then.

Is it explicitly required by you, or have you just read it somewhere.

I once checked our documents. Although the income tax return is basically listed on the sheet of documents to be brought along, there is no checkmark, so it is not needed in our case.

I assume there is a "Please bring the following documents" document, but not everything always applies to everyone.

In any case, we did not use any at the time.
Only pay slips from the last 3 months + the one from last December.
We also had property as equity, and then an uncertified land register excerpt was necessary.
