Yes, shaking my head and moving on... :D

Yes, Sparkasse was also off the table for us quite quickly – the terms were too weak. The Volksbank has an affiliated partner with whom up to 30 years of ZB can be guaranteed – that was quite interesting for us and ultimately, we are also financing through them (just for your information, in case there is still a need).

I am currently also considering requesting a construction loan from Dr. Klein or Interhyp alongside my main bank. Does anyone know if this affects the Schufa or if they only make a conditions inquiry that does not appear on the Schufa?

A reputable advisor will only make a rate inquiry in the further "consultation progress," which will appear in the Schufa but does not significantly affect it. However, the essential matters can also be clarified in advance and then decide whether to proceed "further" with the Schufa.

Hello, here at Dr. Klein we are independent and not committed to any bank, for us it is important that the loan fits the customer well and that the customer is satisfied. We provide free and non-binding advice. That means: there are no costs for the consultation – not even if the financing does not come about. Therefore, we gladly invite every interested party to contact us without obligation.
