Construction company demands fee for KfW online confirmation in new building

The online calculation is, to my knowledge, a separately itemized position in the house costing. The calculation is not performed by the BU, but by an external energy consultant (as far as I know). It is therefore an external service that a BT like in your case charges when the contract is concluded. Usually included in the house price, like for example the BlowerDoorTest. Like , I am also surprised why the bank wanted this document. It is actually only needed later - not during a preliminary inquiry. Best regards in brief

We did not need the online confirmation to work out the financing. Only once everything was finalized did we need it for the KFW loans. Maybe you also need to talk to your bank again.

Correct. It was the same for us. The KFW application is only submitted after the approval by the bank.
