Hi

I want to build a wall. I have already created an 80 cm deep foundation.
My question is which material I should use to connect the first row with the foundation. People casually say to "set in mortar," but what exactly should I use? Please provide a precise product description.

After that, it would also be good to know which products I should use to connect the individual beams. Someone even told me to glue them with tile adhesive? But that seems too thin to me. I actually want a nice visible joint.
THX

Do you have no one at hand who has a little knowledge.... well, it should be straightened, right? :)

The question is, what kind of wall? For what purpose? Etc...

Which row? Concrete wall made of what? Concrete blocks, Rigunien, or real concrete and you only want to build the formwork?
We have concrete blocks, the wall was knocked down by the storm. Then professionals came and rebuilt the wall - 3m by 1.8 - 1.2 declining -> We had glued it firmly with special adhesive - did not hold!
The professionals then had a special tile adhesive - with that the wall holds - but you can hardly see the joints. You can also use mortar and build a proper wall,... As I said: Our first attempt ended in a wall collapse.

Hi Thank you for the answers. The 1st question refers to the first row. That means the connection between the foundation and the first row of bricks. Here is the left side of the wall: nothing to do with advertising links, it will be deleted by the mod! I suspect that it is colored concrete.

You should ask the supplier. If he sells the stones, he will surely also sell the adhesive and be able to explain how the connection to the foundation is made. If not, go to the local building supply store and get advice there!
