Dear house-building friends
I have a question for you regarding an installation made in our house and hope an electrician among you can tell me if this could work:
We want to operate a washing machine (220V) and a dishwasher (220V) in parallel in the kitchen. My question concerns the power connection to an existing T15 socket (double 10A protected). Our plumber suggested connecting both devices via a common T15 plug: that is, device 1 is connected to L1, device 2 to L2, and both devices share the neutral conductor.
This way, no new socket would be needed, both devices would be individually protected since they run on separate L1 and L2 conductors; however, they would share the neutral conductor. Would that be a problem?
What do you think?
Thank you very much for your feedback and best regards,
Stephan
