Connection of Ikea light Grundtal with transformer or power supply

we have purchased the above lighting. There was no connection cable included. We also did not buy one separately because we have prepared an extra cable with a switch in the wall. Can we connect this cable directly to Grundtal or is a transformer or power supply needed?

Cabinet top lighting and spot strips have the transformer integrated and need a connection cable, which can however be cut off and connected to a light connection. The 3-spot lights come with a separate transformer that in turn must be connected to a power outlet.

Without a connecting cable, I don't think it will be easy... Just go to Ikea again and ask for an Ansluta 3.5m cable. It can be relatively easily cut and connected. Above all, the required plug for the spot strips is already attached.

as Elvis already wrote, you need the Ansluta cable. Just keep in mind that your warranty (for the cable) will be void and any damage to the lamp caused by incorrect connection is also not covered. If you can live with that, the Ansluta connection cable is suitable for your purposes as well. It comes in 2m and 0.6m lengths and then has 2 plugs if you have 2 lamps. :cool:
