Hello,
I have now reached the two bathrooms in my renovation and need professional support from you.
I have demolished everything except the pipes in the bathrooms and want to reconnect new toilets, shower cabin, bathtub, etc. in the same place.
The only thing I will change are the toilets. I bought 2x these "Geberit concealed cistern Kombifix Plus UP320". Without the feet because the wastewater and water pipes run underneath.
1. Previously, there was a bathtub with a drain in the middle; my current one has the drains on the side/at the beginning of the bathtub.
For this, I bought: "Viega Multiplex drain & overflow fitting". How can I connect my bathtub? See picture Bad1_Bathtub. The old pipes and the multiplexer can still be seen there.
2. I want to replace the old square shower 80 x 80 with a quarter-circle shower also 80 x 80. The shower tray does not necessarily have to be flush with the floor, but also not as high as the old one (20 cm high). Furthermore, the connection is currently in the front left corner; my new one will have the connection either in the front right corner or in the rear right corner (where the pipes are split in a Y shape).
Which is the better and less complex place for the drain?
I am not sure if the new shower tray will have a polystyrene base. May I use feet instead of this, or do I still have to use the wall edge profiles?
3. In bathroom 1, the concealed cistern fits well into the outlet pipe; in bathroom 2, I have a problem. According to the instructions, the wastewater pipe that connects to the toilet (see picture cistern drawing) must have a distance of 23 cm from the center to the floor. If I keep that distance, I have to cut the supplied pipe almost up to the bend and can no longer insert it into the intermediate pipe + outlet pipe because it is too short.
How can I solve this problem?
