Hello,
I am currently considering how to get fresh water for the upcoming civil engineering works when the cistern runs dry. I am currently planning the following: I will connect the pump connection of the cistern to a water socket near the fresh water connection (in the northwest of the property). From this water socket, I will run two more water sockets (in the southwest and southeast). If the cistern runs dry, I can simply connect the outdoor faucet to the water socket using a hose connector and switch off the cistern pump. Is there anything against this concept?
I am still wondering how to manage a possible future automatic irrigation system with such a setup. Somehow, the concept does not seem quite right to me. Do you have any tips for me?
