If there is no possibility to temporarily stay with family or friends, you will have to bear the costs for the temporary interim solution. Are there perhaps holiday apartments near you that you can rent for a short-term transition?

It happens all the time. We also spent 3 months at my parents' place and one month in a holiday apartment. Holiday apartments were fully booked for a while in the area around our new development :cool:
