Concrete block steps discolored - What to do?

Hello forum community,

we have built an 11-step block stair for our new building - own work. Since we liked the look, we chose Diephaus steps in dark anthracite.

Unfortunately, after just half a year, the staircase looks anything but nice, discolored. Picture attached. Does anyone know a trick to get the steps dark again? A very stupid question but can something like that even be painted?

So far, the following was successful:
- neutral cleaner + brush
- Mellerud concrete intensive cleaner + brush

There is concrete/cement paint. We also painted a concrete block step with it, which still looks freshly painted after almost half a year. Let it cure properly, then it is absolutely resistant to foot traffic. Although we have only graveled the paths so far and still carry a lot of dirt around, there are still no scratches or abrasion visible.

Alternative 2K coating, as used for garage floors and the like.

Thanks , then I'll try the color first. Does anyone happen to have long-term experience with this topic? I actually don't feel like painting 11 steps every year o_O

I wouldn't do anything at all at first and wait until the construction site is finished.
What does the manufacturer say about it?
What exact type is it? Are they coated?

The manufacturer is not saying anything yet because I have not contacted him yet.

They are Diephaus concrete block steps. I think the concrete was simply colored before pouring. In any case, it does not look like a coating.
