Hello everyone,

I am not clear about my options for the fittings on our future bathtub.

The water should flow into the tub via the fill/overflow button, no faucet. So concealed installation, that’s as far as I understand.

There should also be a thermostat concealed. So I need a control element for the temperature. Ok.

Now the water should sometimes go into the tub and sometimes to the hand shower. Here begins my "problem." Under no circumstances do I want a pull knob to switch.

I have already seen fittings with a rotary control: center position no water, turn left more and more water into the tub, turn right more and more water into the hand shower. That’s better than the pull knob, but not perfect.

We currently have such a control and that regularly leads to the shower or faucet dripping after the bathtub has been used because you have to set the control exactly in the middle and easily “overturn” it.

Are there other options?

(The internet search has not helped me so far. It is always difficult when you are looking for unknown variants without a suitable keyword.)

Best regards

I only know the pull-button version and can honestly advise against it.

Hello

from Hansgrohe ShowerSelect.
They have push buttons and are suitable for up to 3 users.

Brand new and also seen at the ISH with integrated hose connection and shower holder.

Had a similar problem: bathtub rim faucet.

Now have the three-hole version Vigour Cosima (no idea if I’m allowed to show the link?), the spout goes directly into the tub:

1) Hose for hand shower
2) Mixer (hot/cold) and volume. Looks like a normal lever mixer.
3) Rotary knob for switching shower/bathtub. I think turn left = shower, turn right = tub. There are only two positions, nothing in between.

We are getting the Grohtherm 3000 UP thermostat with diverter from Grohe. However, to be honest, I have no idea how the diverter works here does anyone know?
