Combine lightweight concrete blocks and aerated concrete blocks

Hello everyone,

I have a question.
Is it possible to build the exterior wall with lightweight concrete blocks and to compensate the openings for windows and doors with aerated concrete blocks, provided the strength class is the same.

If this is not possible, can someone recommend a block saw for lightweight concrete?

Balance out? What do you want to balance out?

When building an exterior wall, eventually there comes the opening for a door or a window. This results in having to cut the lightweight concrete blocks. Since aerated concrete blocks are much easier to work with, my question is whether the cut aerated concrete block can be used?

So you want to build lightweight concrete blocks and aerated concrete blocks together in the same bond? :-O

A tip from us, since we once built a house with lightweight concrete blocks about 20 years ago.
The best tool for cutting the blocks is an angle grinder.
This way, you would have solved the problem with different materials.
