Because I’m using a monoblock from Panasonic. It can even be installed by yourself, since there is no separate refrigerant circuit. And the device actually costs about 2,850€ gross (MAG + safety valve + outdoor temperature sensor already included in the device). It delivers max. 60 degrees (heating) water down to -10 degrees outside temperature (below that only 55 degrees). Then a few meters of piping and shut-off valves and small parts or a hot water storage tank from SHWT for about 500€. That’s all there is to it.
Great COP for such a device.
But not many heating engineers do that.
