Hello everyone,
in the Weberhaus from 1994 that we purchased, we found an open spot in the floor slab during the bathroom renovation on the ground floor:

I wonder what the hole is for if there is no pipe going into it? Poor planning/implementation?
In the original documents, I see various openings in the foundation; possibly more of these are also unsealed:

The sealing as required by DIN 18195 should, in principle, not be sufficient with this, right? According to the following offer from the executing company for the floor slab, this and possibly other existing openings should have been sealed!?

Do you see any risks that damage to the floor and wall construction could have occurred due to moisture or similar? Should this be examined by an expert?
And above all, what is the best way to seal the hole? Bitumen, epoxy, ...?
Does the wall or the beam need to be treated, dried, sealed, ...?
Thank you very much.
