Phew, great thanks. Did you also have strange spots like in the pictures in my last post? How did you handle the edges at the wall?

do you mean because of the larger air bubbles? I also had some bigger craters in the screed. If I had had more time, I would have repaired them beforehand, but I had to finish because the [technics] had to go in :) I just smoothed over the bubbles. It's only a [technical room] and only I go in there to tinker with the heating / ventilation :) I also cut the edge insulation strip flush with the screed and then covered it towards the wall with acrylic or sealed a joint over it so that the insulation strip is no longer visible and the surface is closed. However, I don't know if this is correct, but I did it :)

So, we don’t have any air bubbles at all, rather in some places more like rough sandy spots.

The sandy material is bound by the [Tiefengrund] and after applying it to the floor, nothing of the rough spots is visible or noticeable anymore. The paint covers really well and creates a nice smooth surface that can also be easily wiped or swept off.

Just wanted to give an update on what I am planning now or what is currently being carried out.:

1. Dust-free
2. Cut off edge insulation strips and smooth with acrylic and fill large holes with Repa
3. Grind screed with single-disc grinding machine, grit size 16
4. Dust-free
5. Prime with Tiefengrund
6. Paint with floor paint
7. Paint with floor paint
8. Apply silicone cove at the edges
9. Done
