Hi, something unfortunate happened to us. Someone accidentally dropped the bricklayer's hammer onto the freshly laid laminate and caused a 5 by 5 mm dent in the laminate. The "luck" in misfortune is that it's the very first panel of the laminate. That means the tongue is against the wall; can I replace the panel here without having to take up the entire laminate floor again? I ask because with the first panel you lay, you align the tongue against the wall so that in the second row you have a groove into which you insert the next tongue, etc. Here it would be the other way around; I would have to insert the groove into the tongue. Is that possible? Can I even remove the panel again? And how reliable would this "attempt" be? The dent is relatively inconspicuous, and for experiments that might fail, the risk is not worth it.
