Hello everyone,

our patio slabs now look really unpleasant after a few years. Thick tufts of grass are growing between the patio slabs and it looks very unsightly. How do you maintain your patio or walkway slabs?

Hello Mirakulix,

I can help you here as well. We have the same problem with our driveway. I proceed with the maintenance as follows: Remove weeds with the roots, preferably with a pointed knife. Sprinkle sand on the pavers and sweep it into the joints. Water a little so that the sand settles better into the joints. If the joints look very worn, I refill them with a special mortar.

Just give it a try. Regular maintenance is important for terrace slabs.

Best regards
Christiane
