Hello everyone,

we are about to finalize our new kitchen. However, we are still a bit unsure about the cleaning of the oven and are therefore wavering between Pyrolyse and Hydro Clean.

-> Who among you already has experience with the two mentioned types? We would be very grateful for any help.

Oh, by the way, if it is of importance, the oven is intended as a built-in at half height, so we would favor telescopic slides.

Thank you for your feedback and recommendations.

No matter what you decide, you cannot avoid using a cloth and cleaning agents with any of the options, as unfortunately the oven cannot clean itself completely. For us, the cleaning method does not matter; the selected oven from Neff offers Easy Clean (probably similar to Hydro Clean). Our old oven already had that, but we hardly use it because we have to clean anyway...

We have neither, and manage well with sponges and dish soap. I use a pot sponge and only water with dish soap and can easily get all crusts off that way. And we use the oven very intensively... just recently, two ducks enjoyed a long sauna session in the oven. But I know many who swear by pyrolysis... for me, that's too much fuss...
