Hello,
I am new here in the forum and would like to ask my first question(s).
I installed a Geberit cistern in cooperation with a sanitary company. (Company pressed water connection and co, and I clad with 2 x 12.5 mm Fermacell)
Now to my actual question:
- After cladding, I noticed that in the installation instructions screws were driven directly next to or into the frame of the cistern. In my case, there is about 10 - 15 cm of space to the next metal profile as shown in the pictures. Is that sufficient?
- Or should I afterwards screw in self-drilling Geberit panel screws into the frame so that it does not spring later and the tiles in the toilet area crack?
- If yes, I am concerned that the resulting metal shavings could "fall" into the construction and eventually start to rust, etc.
What would you do?
Thank you in advance for the answers
Regards Markus
