Here, as is often the case in construction, there are competing demands (structural engineering, energy, costs). If there are sufficient interior walls for bracing on the upper floor, a concrete ceiling can be omitted => costs. Then studio trusses would probably represent both the most economical and the most energy-efficient solution.
