Child construction allowance for carport with garden house

Hello,

we bought an older house (built in 1956) in 2014 and completely renovated the house with a new extension. Now we want to build a carport with a garden shed for our car. In the meantime, we have a little daughter (9 months) and have heard about the Baukindergeld.

Our question would be whether we can also apply for the Baukindergeld for the construction of a carport? Retrospectively, we probably won’t be able to apply for anything for our house anymore.

Maybe someone can help us.

...at least take a look at the few infos on the KfW page. That pretty much makes the question obsolete.

By the way, it also doesn't work if you want to build a box for your garbage bins next to the house...

A carport is not a building, but only an ancillary structure. In this respect, further considerations are probably unnecessary.

Moreover, you already own residential property.

Of course you can claim the Baukindergeld for a carport, but this carport must be attached to a new building
