Hello, I am currently working on the stair design. It is to be a double quarter-turn stringer staircase. One side of the staircase has a railing with a handrail installed on the stringer facing the hallway, the other side runs mostly along the wall, but the last 3 steps are open on the side. I am now wondering how I could design this side: with a half-height wall, a built-up wall, or another short railing. Unfortunately, I lack the imagination of how the implementation could look. Do you have any ideas and experiences that could help me here? Thanks in advance!

What do you think we ourselves are lacking – your nicest thanks would have been to illustrate the situation.
There are many friendly and competent advisors here, but no one with mind-reading abilities!
So far, we know nothing about your construction project.

Honestly, what kind of unfriendly response is that? Are you using this chat to vent your bad mood? Thank you, I've had enough. I will log off here immediately and look for a friendlier forum.

Sorry, but how are we supposed to have imagination now?

It is unfriendly to ask for design tips and not even provide a floor plan. For style-related questions, it is also highly recommended to write something about the desired style, otherwise you will get the style of the respondent.

Well then, have fun in the next forum. Hopefully, you’ll post the plans of the respective layouts and some photos there. Otherwise, you’ll get the same backlash right in your face.

Remember, is active in many construction forums.
