Hello everyone,

we are currently planning the ceiling spots but can't really decide.

Attached are our ideas.

What do you think, or do you have better ideas?

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

Thank you.

So I would choose variant 1. That makes the most spatial sense.

I would consider whether it makes sense to move the 2 left spots of the top row in V1 down by one row. That way, you'd also have something above the coffee table. Assuming, of course, the couch is against the south wall and the TV is on the wall facing the [TRH]. I just don't see the point in placing a spot above the TV.

Is the furnishing actually going to be like that, or is it just entered that way by the draftsman? That would be interesting.

Thank you very much for the feedback. No, the furniture does not look like that afterwards, it is entered by the draftsman as such.

Hello,

that definitely depends on how your furniture is arranged. Therefore, the question cannot be answered without a concrete furniture plan. Secondly, you need to consider what you want to achieve with the lighting. Do you want a subtle light behind the sofa when you watch TV in the evening, or do you rather read a book sometimes, for which the light should be a bit brighter? Do you also need more light in the living room on a birthday because a second table for guests is set up there? etc. Then you can think about where a light would make sense and then you also have to consider which lamps you install. In particular, the color temperature, brightness (lumens), and beam angle are important.

... and in connection with the radiation angle also the ceiling height.

I would also tend towards V1, but I would think that with the usual 08/15 recessed downlights the maximum brightness would be too low for me. Therefore: Which lamps are planned?

Best regards
